The DC Crew Challenges was an interactive digital scavenger hunt that immersed fans in a citywide mystery. Running from November to December of 2023, players took on the roles of rival factions working to stop a looming cyber threat. Clues were gradually revealed through official online channels and social media, challenging participants to decode hidden messages and uncover secret URLs. Each discovery led to a different virtual location, representing key points across Gotham City, where players pieced together the puzzle to complete their mission.
I was responsible for bringing each location to life, handling all aspects of design, modeling, UV mapping, look development, texturing, lighting, and rendering. Each environment incorporated subtle visual cues that reflected the distinct characteristics of its district, ensuring that every location felt unique and true to its setting.
